ChromaGenix Expands Commercial Expertise across USA and Europe with New Appointments

ChromaGenix is expanding its commercial leadership team with two senior appointments that bring decades of experience in bioprocessing and biotechnology. These hires reinforce the company’s commitment to supporting customers worldwide with the scale-up and commercialization of advanced purification technologies.

Michael Kaleja joins ChromaGenix as EU Business Development Consultant, bringing more than 40 years of expertise in bioprocessing, specializing in chromatography and downstream solutions for advanced biologics. He has held senior roles at Knauer, Pharmacia/Amersham Biosciences/GE Healthcare, and Purolite/Ecolab Life Sciences, and is widely recognized for his ability to introduce innovative technologies that transform downstream processing. Michael will focus on supporting customers across Europe in addressing complex purification challenges and advancing healthcare outcomes.

Ryan Hutchinson has been appointed Vice President, Commercial Development, bringing over 20 years of biotechnology experience spanning bioprocess sales, technology evaluation, and process development. He has held leadership positions at KBI Biopharma, Ecolab, Catalent, and Cytiva, and earlier in his career at Genentech contributed to pioneering the industry’s first single-use tangential flow filtration system. At ChromaGenix, Ryan will drive commercial strategy and build strategic partnerships to expand the reach and impact of the company’s peptide ligand purification technologies.
